After one hour cruise on the Seine, during which you will discover those of the monuments of Paris lined along the river, you will enter the hydraulic lift of the Eiffel Tower and stop at the 2nd floor to take a walk around the platform from which you can see the different sights and have a remarkable extensive view all over Paris and its outskirts.

Montmartre is a magical name conjuring up images of a marvellous artist village topped by the basilica of the Sacré-Coeur, a place where so many famous painters, poets and singers have left their mark: Picasso, Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec, Utrillo, Van Gogh…

In this museum, the world of fairground art comes to life and provides for an entertaining show thanks to the imaginative staging of objects from the world-renowned collection belonging to the owner of the Pavillons de Bercy, Jean Paul Favand.
The “Carousel-Salon”, once a symbol of itinerant entertainment, has made up a stop in this place and turned this building into an extraordinary site full of attractions and games that have been restored to their original state.
The incredible and unique collection of fairground art, including German swings, merry-go-rounds and carousels provide the decor in which sculpted wooden horses, hundred-year-old bicycles and other objects become a playground in which you will discover the different aspects of travelling fairs and how they once enabled people to live out their dreams.

V11 | Orangerie Museum



The Orangerie museum houses the collection of Jean Walter and Paul Guillaume, composed of 144 paintings done by some of the most important French and foreign artists who lived in France from the impressionist period up until 1930. Among the collection are some world renowned paintings: “Young girls at the Piano” by Renoir, “The Marriage” by Rousseau, and “the Bathers” by Picasso. The two showrooms on the ground floor of the museum were set up just after the World War I in order to exhibit the fantastic Water lily panels by Monet.

V13 | Cité de l’Architecture



Discover la Cité de l’Architecture, which has opened its doors to the public in September 2007.
Created in 1880 this museum of France’s monumental art and mural painting, comprising casts and replicas was the brainchild of the Gothic Revival and restorer of medieval monuments Viollet-le-duc. Because of a fire, the museum was closed for many years and has been totally transformed and restored into a great museum with a very modern decoration. The 3 galleries are now one and will introduce the visitor to the French architecture from the XII century until today with all its specificities: aesthetical, functional, technical, special and urban.
You will be astonished by the display of the pieces of art, the high ceilings and the tremendous view over the Gardens and Fountains of the Trocadéro.
